Education and choosing a career path is something I have thought long and hard about. It has taken me 29 years to figure out exactly when and how I am going to further my education and career. Growing into an adult I was always well aware that if I wanted to live comfortable I needed to obtain my Bachelor’s degree. With that said, whatever career path I choose it shouldn’t involve dealing with a large amount of math due to my struggles with it throughout elementry and high school. For those reasons, me analizing my work history and what I am good at, has led me to believe that working in the social service field is the best career path for me. In order for me to reach my goal in working in the social service field successfully there are a few goals I need to complete in order to do so. As I stated earlier i enjoy helping those who are unable to advocate for themselves. If I would like to highten my chanses in gaining employment in the social service field straight out of undergrad it is critical that I get an internship. In doing my research Employers are willing to take a chance on someone straight out of undergrad who have some experience. Proviede that this is the case I will be doing my research on the intern ships that are avalible to me starting in March of this year. Once I find a few that seem o fit my career path I will be persuing the positions available. Im certain that if I give my best I can create opportunity for myself that will lead me to my dream job working in health care management within the next 10 years. While doing so this leads me to my next goal which is to maintain a 3.0 averaege. If I want to graduate on time maintaining a 3.0 is very important to me.
