Essay In the book Hamlet, there are many allusions, for example, Hercules, Mars or even, Julius Caesar. They were all connected to Hamlet in some way and form. For example Hamlet thinks he isn't a hero or like Mars, because he couldn't save his dad and his mom doesn't care that his dad was killed by his new dad. Hamlet was clever enough to use claudius to catch Claudius in his father's murder,which makes it so one of the characters are making a reference to mars. Hercules is the greek divine hero who was the son of Zeus. he was most famous for his awesome strength. On that note, Hamlet compares his uncle (or his new father) to himself. (Act 3 scene 4). Hamlet compares himself to his dad, therefore, he looks at his dad as a god just like how hercules is a god. Hamlet also thinks that he is not a hero because, of his human capacity although, but people don't look at him as a god.
