Ambition can cause the most steady and kind person to become corrupt, because depending on how strong their ambition is and how determined they are could cause some big problems for the surrounding people involved, for example; Abigail in Arthur miller’s the crucible calling people witches to earn a sort of petty revenge and to keep Elizabeth away so she could have john for herself not caring about what happened to her accomplices and others along the way, accusing those who posed as a threat to her other plans.
