A Conspiracy Theory is an explanation of an event that invokes an unwarranted conspiracy, usually one involving a harmful act planned out by the government or other powerful authorities. Conspiracy theories have been around for as long as the puritans arrived in the United States. The first documented conspiracy was on January, 30, 1835 at a congressman’s funeral. On this day assassin Richard Lawrence fired two pistols at president Andrew Jackson and misfired both shots. Afterwards Lawrence was admitted to an insane asylum, Or at least that was the official story. It wasn’t long before two witnesses claimed to see Lawrence at the home of Mississippi Sen. This is why when tragedy strikes, things need to be covered up. Afterall there is always a backside to each story and everything is not what it seems. The conspiracy theories you are about to read are over government conspiracies, such as the John F Kennedy assassination, The moon landing, and the tragedy of 911. The first conspiracy theory I am going to cover is the John F Kennedy assassination, John F Kennedy was assassinated on November, 22, 1963. On this day America was shook as Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly sat on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book depository with a Mannlicher Carcano rifle and shot president Kennedy twice. Once in the head and once in the neck as he was riding in the back of a topless limo with his wife Jackie. There are many theories behind this assassination because of the many weird coincidences that day. Most of these coincidences are questionable, such as the Dealey Plaza itself.
