“10 principles of Catholic Ethical Behaviour” States Christ Taught the law of love. Jesus Christ stated that the exercise of love is central to the Catholic tradition. He gives us the commandment to love one another. On basis of this law of love, Catholics can claim that love, generosity, self-sacrifice and compassion are always good and that selfishness, hatred, abuse, discrimination are evil. I would say that this has a lot to do what I am trying to explain. Why are people so against assisted suicide? To me I believe that God created wonderful things in the world and people are created to be able to create new things and to help sick people, and this is why someone created 9 g of secobarbital in capsules or 10 g of pentobarbital liquid in order to help with assisted suicide. God created us to be happy and if we aren’t happy and want to be put to rest peacefully then why is it such an argument?
