Examples Of Monologue Of Lord Capulet
Hello Prince! I, Lord Capulet have had to suffer multiple accusations about the cause of my daughter’s death. I realize that I am not completely innocent, and I have done a few things that may lead you to that conclusion. For example, I threatened to disown my kin for not marrying Paris, and I had a huge feud with the Montague family and if we are being honest I don’t know how it started, but Juliet was my only daughter and only chance for an heir. Do you really think I would want her to die? I loved my daughter and I tried so hard to make her happy and tried to make the best possible life I could give her.
When Juliet came back from Friar Lawrence’s cell and told me she was ready to marry Paris, I told the nurse “Go with her. We’ll to church tomorrow” (IV. 2. 38). I moved the wedding up a day because I thought my daughter wanted me to, and thought she was ready. She told me she wanted to marry Paris so I thought why should I make her wait. I saw what Paris could give her, and it made me happy that she could potentially have a better life.

My daughter he hath wedded. I will die and leave him all” (IV. 5. 44-46). All I could think of is my that own daughter couldn’t tell me that she was already wed to another man, do you know how that makes me feel? My own daughter died thinking that I would be mad or disappointed with her if she was married to a Montague. Would I have been upset? Probably, but she is my daughter and I would of loved her any other way, because that’s what fathers do, they get mad and then they

On the morning of our fight, when my lady mother called up so early, I wondered what unaccustomed cause procures her hither? She came with the “joyful tidings” that I was to be married to Paris early next Thursday morn at Saint Peter’s Church. Fearful of this wrought marriage, I told my lady mother to tell you, my lord and father, that I will not marry yet; and when I do I swear it shall be Romeo, whom you know I hate, rather than Paris. She answered me saying, "Here comes your father now, tell him so yourself, and see how he will take it at your hands", clearly to me saying that she is not on my side.…

Lady Capulet calls to her daughter. Juliet wonders why her mother would come to speak to her so early in the morning. Unaware that her daughter is married to Romeo, Lady Capulet enters the room and mistakes Juliet’s tears as continued grief for Tybalt. Lady Capulet tells Juliet of her deep desire to see “the villain Romeo” dead (3.5.80). In a complicated bit of punning every bit as impressive as the sexual punning of Mercutio and Romeo, Juliet leads her mother to believe that she also wishes Romeo’s death, when in fact she is firmly stating her love for him. Lady Capulet tells Juliet about Capulet’s plan for her to marry Paris on Thursday, explaining that he wishes to make her happy. Juliet is appalled. She rejects the match, saying “I will not marry yet; and when I do, I swear / It shall be…

RE: MurderMe.com (AndNich123 and boyo) As Molly stepped up to him in the water it was like the scene on the beach in From Here To Eternity, except they were not lying down in each others arms. There was a moment, something passing between them, something that was a distraction to what he wanted but it was there. A beat of the heart for a moment when they looked in each others eyes, a spark went off somewhere inside him until she screamed and ran out of the water. Shaking his head laughed a moment, hearing her ask him to let her in. "Don't worry, you'll get in soon enough," he promised.…

Lord Capulet played a major part in the death of his own daughter, Juliet. Capulet’s decision to make Juliet marry Paris made everything worse because she did not love him. Capulet kept her from Romeo, who she did love, and ultimately caused her death. “Go ask his name. --If he be married. My grave is like to be my wedding bed.” [Act 5 Scene1] Juliet wanted Romeo and would rather be dead than be without him. Her father was contributing to her death, because she could not have the only person she loved, Romeo. “And with this knife I’ll help it presently. God joind my heart and Romeos, thou our hands -- and ere this hand, by thee to Romeo seald, Shall be the label to another deed.[Act 6 Scene 4] Separating her from someone that she truly loved…

In this scene Juliet`s parents reveal to her about her arranged marriage with Paris, as Juliet`s reaction to this is negative Capulet is not very pleased, it reveals an angry and threatening side of him. He shows no interest in Juliet`s feelings as he says “speak not, reply not, do not answer me” this shows how unemotional he is, a few scenes before we saw a version of Capulet who respected Juliet`s wishes- but after this scene we see a side that somehow gives me the impression of the real Capulet. I get this idea as there is no one of the public to witness this so anything he says will not be at risk of his reputation being damaged- as it is the only thing he seems to care about-he says to Juliet what is really in his mind. He is very impatient and does not want to deal with the situation that Juliet is putting him in, he will throw away Juliet`s wishes i other to fulfil his own, this tells me that he is a selfish man and does not love his daughter enough to care, this might be because in Shakespearean time women took care of the children so the father might not have a real connection with his…

I am Tybalt, a Capulet and cousin of Juliet. I am known as short-tempered, impulsive, and a vengeful person, I draw my sword anytime I can. However I am loyal beyond words and honour the family rivalry between the Capulets and the Montagues with great heart. I will never betray the Capulets. On the day of Capulets’ party Romeo showed up. I recognised Romeo through his disguise at the Capulets’ ball. I can’t remember that we invited him to our party. Why is Romeo here? What is his intention of showing up at my Uncle Capulet’s ball? He is a Montague and I loathe all the Montague because they are our enemy. He is not allowed to come to our party. I would have killed him or make him leave the ball immediately if not forbidden by my uncle. He stopped me because he didn’t want to make a scene at the party. I could have choose to disobey my uncle but if I do that he will be mad at me so I have no choice but listened to my uncle. However I won’t let him live so easily I will make his life miserable. I will take revenge on him next time I meet him. Therefore I have a plan, I will fight Romeo at the city centre but I will be banished if I start a fight with him. In that case I will provoke Romeo at the city centre of Verona so he will start a fight with me. When the prince found out that Romeo starts a fight with me he will banish Romeo from Verona forever instead of me. I sent a challenge letter to Romeo for a duel to the death and vowed to meet him later on. I didn’t know if Romeo will show up but I went off to look for him after the masked ball. Instead of finding Romeo I found his friends, Benvolio and Mercutio. After Romeo arrived, I confronted him to fight with me, but he refused. But his friend Mercutio winded me up after that so I started a fight with him. Romeo tries to stop us, but I stab Mercutio. I ran away after I stabbed Mercutio but I still have my sight set on killing…

When a person becomes a parent, their ultimate goal in life is to protect and provide for their child. Juliet had the ideal childhood environment; her parents sheltered her from the negative of the world and provided her with the best in life. Yet sometimes parents’ best intentions are not suitable for their child. Juliet’s view of marriage at the beginning was naïve, “It is an [honor] that I dream not of” (1.3.71). The thought of marriage…
