Examples Of Successful Political Machines
The political machine is a political group/organization which is typically run by a boss. These machines offer gifts, rewards, and/or favors for political support, these gifts or rewards would be things such as jobs, types of services. Successful political machines will/can in turn receive gifts and/or rewards as an incentive for their work. The goal of the political machine is to keep a specific political person/party in power.
For example, the county in which I live will soon be voting in a primary election to determine which of the three republican candidates for Sheriff will be on the ticket in November. It would be the job of the political machine to find voters who are supporters of their particular candidate and work at securing their
