How can someone do such a thing as to vandalize a property that is there to honor a tragic time in our nation. It is wrong and prejudice and antisemitism should not be happening. It makes people feel unsafe and hurts peoples feelings. I’ve never experienced bullying, but I understand how much someone's words or actions can hurt. “Be sure to taste your words before you spit them out.” How would you feel having those words said to you? If you wouldn’t like it, the why say it to someone else? It will hurt them as much as it would hurt you. Hopefully we can put an end to bullying.
As you go through your day, if you see racism or antisemitism happening, don’t be a bystander, do something. “See something, say something.” You can tell an adult what is happening and get help. Or, you can try to stop it yourself by standing up for the victim. You can also sit with the victim or be friends with them so they don’t feel alone. You never want to be a bystander to racism, bullying, etc. You should never join in with the bully or laugh along. In addition, don’t provoke them.
