Running Head: CHESSECAKE FACTORY 2

Cheesecake factory is one of the best restaurants around. When you walk into the cheesecake factory the scenery is very beautiful. The staff is dressed nicely. The service is great. One of the strengths for this restaurant is appearance and atmosphere when you walk through the front door you smell delicious cheesecake and you can view a few pies in the glass case. The restaurant can seat quite a few people

I had a regular burger and fries on one of many visits and I paid around 14.00 dollars. That’s very expensive in my opinion. You can get 2 meals for 20.00 dollars at chili’s restaurant but I think you pay for atmosphere. I think that since there are so many items on the menu and 166 locations in the United States they could take their strengths of great food and go down in price on food so customers can afford to at least buy desert. Customers go to the cheesecake factory mainly for cheesecake but eat lunch or dinner first. Lowering the price on regular food would bring more profit and business to the cheesecake factory. People who have at least a family of four are spending at least 100.00 dollars per a visit to the cheesecake factory. I have no doubt that the price is a threat for the business. Another weakness is adding too much to the menu. I agree with expanding to 170 locations but adding menu selections could fail the business. When you add more than needed most people get confused. Seasonal cheesecake flavors are a great idea, like pumpkin cheesecake (Welcome to The Cheesecake Factory.

Cheesecake Factory could face a variety of threats related to their expansion in Canada. Domestic economic conditions including unemployment, consumer purchasing and saving habits, wage rates could influence Cheesecake’s business and financial performance. Moreover, competition from other restaurants in the restaurant industry can also have a significant impact due to the fact the industry is very competitive, with regards to the menu, food quality, service and location, etc. Many Canadian-based restaurants operators such as Moxie’s Grill may have greater resources to the Canadian market; as a result, Cheesecake Factory could lose market share. Additionally, among other threats, such as trade restrictions, disruption in shipping, it may affect…

Cheesecake Factory sells sandwiches and salads to steaks to seafood but they highlights are the cheesecake which comes in over varities. I noticed they are a very popular company and they all very successful business been around for years and will continue on being a very good company. The sales they have on the menu are great the also had summaries of things they use to make their food so a lot of people know what they are eating which I think is a very good idea for companies to add to their menu to let others know what they are eating. As well as them advertising their company on Facebook and also Bizmology and other websites to get known. I have done some research on the company and noticed that the restaurant chain reported $1.75 billion in revenue for 2011. The company owns and operates over 170 casual dining restaurants in over 35 states also they have succeeded in creating a unique brand by focusing on a few key aspects of the Cheesecake Factory dining experience. But I also noticed that every cheesecake factory has their own way they menu are but all the menus are uniquely designed. To me I feel like the company sells fresh food and well…

    Wendy's Chili Costing

Although the cost of chili varies, it is inadvisable to change the price accordingly. In markets besides fast food, this may be appropriate. However, a staple customer value provider for fast food chains is consistency. Customers always know what they are getting whether they go to a Wendy’s in California or New York. Therefore, it is likely that the cost of disrupting that consistency in order to vary the price of chili with the cost would be too high to justify the increase in profits.…

Location might be our biggest weakness right now. Cheeseburger in Paradise is located in the Plantation Fashion Mall, which is currently under renovations and does not have a lot of flow. Also we haven 't developed a "happy hour" which is a huge trend in south Florida and all of our competition offers. Finally, Cheeseburger has chosen to go with public relations as a method to get know rather than doing TV or print ads. This may cause us to have a slower growth in sales.…

The Blackhorse Pike School District offers a lifesaving program for children to aid in saving lives using Automatic External Defibrillators (AED’s). Staff is also provided training in CPR and AED usage. The Blackhorse Pike School District presently provides education for over 4,000 children each school year. This school has been ranked in the top 75 elementary school in New Jersey. This is located in a growing area and expects to have a population increase of about 20 percent in the next 10 or so years. Over the years, children are seen more with asthma, cardiac issues, diabetes, and allergies. This can be life threatening illnesses and we can help these children to live longer, healthier lives with the proper education and equipment. This school district has one AED per building and only those nurses who are trained are allowed to operate them. If a child became unresponsive other staff are most likely not educated and trained on CPR or AED usage. Only teachers, nurses, and coaches are required to be trained in these. With this being said, this program’s purpose is to have all staff trained to save lives. All hallways will have an AED installed and staff will know how to use it as well as be CPR certified. Research shows in the event of a cardiac arrest, the time from witnessed arrest to the delivery of a shock from the AED should be no longer than five minutes for the best outcomes (American Heart, 2010). This has to do with an This is due to the fact that about half of witnessed cardiac arrests are the shockable rhythm of ventricular fibrillation for the first few minutes of arrest. With each hallway having access to an AED, help will be provided to shock within the recommended time frame and increase the number of children who survive a cardiac arrest (American Heart, 2010).…

The servers of Cheddar’s are always complemented with good behaviors. I have a friend that works as a host at cheddar’s and it is really important for her to greet anyone who comes to the restaurant. People always feel like they’re at home when they enter the restaurant with a bright smile. Also, if the restaurant isn’t busy the customers are seated right away and given their menus. If guests have to wait the servers offers them something like appetizers, and drinks. All these free give outs make costumers pleased even if they were waiting for a long time. All the waiters are hard working and care about their guests and what they need. They never miss or forget what their costumers want. The servers are all known with great manners and treat their guests with care and kindness. Cheddar’s always works with teams so they could work as a family and serve food freshly…

The Medical Center is starting a new initiative dedicated to the prevention of pressure ulcers in acute care facilities. Hospital-acquired pressure ulcers (HAPUs) are a national concern due to increased morbidity, climbing treatment cost, and decreased reimbursements. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) considers pressure ulcers to be preventable. Hospitals are already facing low reimbursements and penalties from Medicare related to the ulcer specific care of patients who acquire pressure ulcers during their inpatient stay. Pressure ulcer prevention in acute care hospitals is surely not new, but it is a highly sensitive issue focused by several recent papers and reports (Zaratkiewicz, S, etal, 2010). The frequency of occurrence and rising cost of treating pressure ulcers is prompting health care industry to identify and implement interventions in order to prevent HAPUs. In the past, nursing units were responsible for the care and prevention of pressure ulcer care but the current studies have proved that pressure prevention and management needs multidisciplinary approach (AHRQ,…
