The algae eater Fish needs to be affordable, an addition to my Fish tank, and Get along with all six Angelfish. Live in water temperatures of 78-82 degrees Fahrenheit, and not make a mess in the tank or destroy the vegetation already living in the aquarium. I have set up a point by point arrangement to help me select the best algae eater for my tank.

In conclusion the research I conducted is for the experience Fish hobbyist. I now have a better understanding of both species of fresh water algae eating fish. Both Fish are very well known for their purpose, and recommended. Taking in consideration the affordability, if it is going to get along with the rest of the fish already living in the Fish tank, and the living conditions I will go with the Plecotomus Fish. Even though both Fish show great adoptability in a large temperature range, what helped me decide on the Plecotomus over the Chinese algae eater was the aggression the Chinese algae eater gains with
