Explain The Determinants Of Mental Health
Mental health is a state of the well-being in where a person realizes what their abilities are. It determines what how a person handles the stress, work and how to take part in the society. The main factors are how a person thinks, emote, interacts with one another. The determinants of mental health are multiple social, psychological and biological factors. These factors help determine the mental health of a person. Examples are a persistent socio economic are pressured into risks of mental health. This is associated with poverty and the low levels of education.
Poor Mental health
Poor mental health is associated with the fast social change, stressful work conditions and gender discrimination. Also when people choose to live with a unhealthy lifestyle it can affect their health. Violence and physical health is also another risk factor for a person to bring down their mental health.

The biological cause for a mental disorder is when the genetic factor relates to the imbalance in the chemicals in the brain. These disorders can make a person mentally feel sick and the brain cannot function proper with all the stress. Sometimes people will choose to just shut down rather fight the mental disorder. It causes them to become depressed and know how to function within the society.
Mental health prevention and protection
To promote mental health prevention a person should live in an environment that helps them see a lighter side of life. To motivate the individual that they can pass through this depression. Programs to be offered for the group of people who feel vulnerable and need help. Also if they start to educate children in an early age it can help a lot. At work and school, they can promote programs on how to be positive and mental disorders can be defeated. Violence prevention should be amongst all the communities.
