Explain The Five Steps Of The Grieving Process
There are 5 steps of the grieving process that is necessary for an individual to stay mentally and physically healthy. They are: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Resolution.
In the first step, denial the individual may be in disbelief at what actually occurred.
The second step, anger can come with a varying degree and range of emotion. The person could simply be bitter over the loss or they could engage in fits of rage over loss of control of the situation.
The third step is bargaining. Here the individual tries to reverse the loss by offering something in exchange. This reminds me of when parents go out and buy the children a new puppy to take away from the loss of a close family pet.
The fourth step is depression. Depression sets
