Teachers and administrators need to be knowledgeable and observant by monitor hot spots and be aware that although bullying generally happens in areas, it must be taken seriously. Statistics show that 47% of bullying occurs in a hallway or stairwell and 33% of bullying happens in the classroom. 20% of bullying situations occur on school playgrounds, buses station and in the canteen (Mahoney, 2012). These spots can't be secured, so one way to stop behaviours is to have open communication. All staff must work together to keep these spots monitored.
