Imperial rule has established framework of india and has the World’s largest democracy. The british has forced india to obey their laws, and the Mughal empire has fallen because it was weak, so it lost control, leading the British to take over the resources, and force you to obey the laws they have set (#6).

The situation was like the Hindus vs. the Muslims (Gandhi). They did not get along with each other, and the railroads were originally built to secure British control and transport resources, and they hogged all the salt and opium to themselves, that wasn’t what Gandhi had wanted when he was alive. I understand your point, but that isn’t true because, Trade links were good because they applied both countries with salt and opium, not just themselves [the British] bringing more money/profit to India; helping the people, and I quote, “There is a substantial list of ways in which India benefited from the British rule, this list includes: railways, roads, canals, mines, sewers, and plantations (#12). This is important because this made India more civilized and have a better economy, the Railroad Network was important because it provided work for the people and the development was the expansion of the railroad network (#13, Ghandi). But building these railroads took most of the land and a lot of work and they were originally built to secure british control and move troops quicker, and the train might be on of the things that caused the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, that caused the soldiers to be transferred quickly, allowing them to arrive fast to take down the people. Health and life expectations improved and the spread of the English language expanded communication and knowledge ; Religion was kept despite the British’s changes of the country. This happened when the British arrived, not before; they had a huge problem with smallpox & malaria like i explained earlier, causing millions to die (~#21). And this can cause chaos. But when the British came in they helped the government with a vaccine cure, for smallpox (#21) then malaria was wiped out completely (#21). The whole population would’ve been wiped out because of malaria and smallpox (overview). The british had been very helpful to the people of india; now they can spread their religion with others even more since the diseases have been wiped out (Gandhi). And this caused british economy for india to boom, since the disease(s) has stopped. And now since there is not a lot of people dying, religion can be spreaded faster.
