9th February 2016 Land to the Jews
There are several unresolved issues in the Arab Israel conflict, but the one that stood out was the fight over having Jerusalem as their capital, and whether or not the land of Palestine should go to the Jews (Israelis) or the Arabs (Palestinians), in my opinion the land and capital should rightly go to the Israelis. According to Max Singer in “What the Fight in Israel is All About” (2002), he explains the fight between the Jews and Arabs over Israel and Palestine started in 1922. Even though The League of Nations were the ones to decide who would become the sovereign in Palestine, and they chose that 90% of the land was to become a part of the Arab states. …show more content…
Then population of Palestine grew and was between 1.5 million and 3 million in the 1st century AD, a lot of the population was built up from Jews. So since most of the land of Palestine was built up of Jews the land should rightfully go to them, so they can call it their homeland. But, than, Thousands of Jews were killed, when they revolted against the Roman Empire, which was unfair considering that were also Arabs living on the land and only the Jews were the only ones being killed. Some of the thousand Jews that survived were either sold into slavery or were thrown out of Palestine. The Roman Empire‘s religion was declared to be Christianity, and for the Jews who stayed changed to Christianity, then late changed to Islam. The Jews who stayed had to change their whole religion. After most of the Jews were thrown out there were half a million Arabs that lived in Palestine 80% Muslim and 8% Jews in 1890. This information shows that many Jews were killed and hardly any Arabs were killed by the Roman Empire. During the 12 century Palestine had a population of 225,000 then decreased at the end of the 14th century to 150,000, still half a million Arabs lived in Palestine at the end of the 19
