Explanation Of The Scorpius Constellation
The constellation I’ve decide to go with is the constellation of my birth sign the Scorpius also known as scorpion. I’ve never done much research into my sign, didn’t even know it was a constellation, so I thought that would be interesting to find out more information about it. Scorpius is a sight to see in the star filled sky, with it being the J-shaped with a collection of other stars giving it the Scorpion shape. The collections of stars that make the Scorpius constellation are Antares, Shaula, Lesath and other clusters of stars.

When it’s comes to the myth of Scorpius it is said that Orion and Scorpius were enemies, Scorpius took its mighty stinger and killed Orion. The gods decided for their final resting place to put both Scorpius and Orion, on the opposite sides of the sky. That’s why you never see Scorpius and Orion rise at the same time always when one is up one is down. Scorpius has six months to reign over the sky, and Orion has the other six months to reign as well.

I have chosen the constellation Cassiopeia: The Seated Queen. I chose this constellation because it was an unknown constellation to me until I studied the first lesson of Astronomy. The name Cassiopeia: The Seated Queen sparked my interest, and so I decided to find more information about this fascinating constellation. Cassiopeia is located in the Northern sky and is easily recognizable by its distinctive "M" shape. It is made up of five stars, the four brightest of which are: Alpha Cassiopeia, Beta Cassiopeia, Gamma Cassiopeia, and Delta Cassiopeia. It is bordered by Andromeda to the south, Perseus to the southeast, and Cepheus to the north. It is opposite the Big Dipper.…

My favorite animals are owls and wolves. So, when I found that there were no constellations of owls (there should be, though, in my opinion), I chose the constellation of the wolf, or Lupus. This constellation also reminds me of Professor Lupin, who was also my favorite Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in the Harry Potter books. I think that J. K. Rowling intended that to be, since Lupus means Wolf in Latin. Lupus can be found between the constellations of Centaurus and Scorpius. The Lupus constellation is home to some remains of a supernova, some globular clusters, and the Retina Nebula. It also contains two stars that have planets.…

'In a time long forgotten, thirteen sibling constellations formed, Humans had called the siblings, the Zodiacs, Eventually, the human population faded and the earth changed its continental positioning. The Zodi descended from the heavens and established kingdoms on the new earth. Aries, Taurus, and Leo settled on the vast grasslands. Cancer, Aquarius, Pisces, and Capricorn controlled the oceans and islands. Scorpio occupied the more dry and desert-like land. Sagittarius, Virgo, and Orphiucus overtook the forests. Finally, Gemini and Libra split any remaining land. Then, the Zodi created lesser divine beings to represent them on the earth. The conspirators come under the pretense of pleading for amnesty for Metellus’s banished brother, Publius Cimber. Caesar then makes an elaborate speech in which a metaphor comes up comparing himself to the “North star”. Caesar talks about his loyalty to the law and how he refuses to waver under any persuasion. The North Star played a very important role. The sailors used this star since ancient times as a guide, just as the North Star Caesar leads the…

Throughout the ages, it has been believed that fate has the power to forge one’s destiny. By some uncontrollable force, the outcome of a person’s choices is controlled by the way in which they are destined to occur. On the other hand though, some believe these choices can defy fate and that fate only manipulates one's mind into choosing their own path. One question that seemed to pop into my head through out this play was whether individuals were victims of fate or their I own choices, or if each aspect plays a significant part in determining their destiny. In the play Macbeth, William Shakespeare plays around with the idea of fate, placing the destiny of Macbeth before him, yet allowing his own ambitions and desires to drive him insane in order to achieve it. However, at the beginning of the play, Macbeth is portrayed as a good man. Yet he decides to commit, not one or to two, but a series of bad actions that only he had the power to control.…
