The First Australians is about a group of aboriginal Australians called the Correnderrk people, from the Wurrendjeri clan. They had to fight indefinitely to overcome authorities from the face of the earth. The non-indigenous people of the government tried to take control of their lives and acted in a nightmarish way as they began the half cast act, an action where all Aborigines under the age of 34 were taken away from their families if they weren’t fully indigenous. However Simon Wonga and his cousin William Barak were more determined to save their land and country. They fought valiantly to save their heritage and families. This example of determination and brilliant act of courage was done not only by Wonga but his entire clan too. They had to overcome obstacles such as traveling to Melbourne and back (quite a large journey) many times. These people showed that in times of trouble amazing things can we achieved. They did amazing things and got what they could from their ability despite the government restricting them greatly.
Another story where people were forced to act in a particular way due to conflict is Once Brothers. This is a story about two Yugoslavian men who were bought together through basketball and their inspiring talents. One of the men was Vlade Divac was from Serbia and the other, Drazen Petrovic was from Croatia. At the time, there was a civil war going on between their two countries. In one championship, the Serbian Divac threw a Yugoslavian flag to the floor. Petrovic was every offended by this gesture. He unfortunately died a couple of years later. The simple act broke up the friendship and
