Independent Study Unit
The Independent Study Unit focuses on the student’s ability to critically think and develop a chosen topic or issue, which is relative to the course being studied. This project is an integral component of the Grade 12 Families in Canada course and is directed at enhancing the student’s knowledge and interests, thus, providing the student with a broader spectrum of course content.
This ISU project is worth 10% of a student’s final grade and involves the student to conduct self-directed research while exploring possible theories and/or ideas on the various topics provided.
