caused them to perish and how they lived.
Because Tybalt got over jealous of Romeo for falling in love with Juliet, Mercutio and Tybalt were killed and Romeo was banished, causing Juliet to be forced to marry Paris, so she found alternative plan. That plan was faking her death and Romeo never got news that this wasn’t real, but he assumed and ended up killing himself for her and then she woke up and killed herself for him. All because their family was feuding did they both die, and that was their planned fate. The Nurse was also against the marriage by basically saying, oh well, Romeo is banished, you should marry Paris! A good countyman! This is stated in the book on page 889, the first time Nurse speaks on this page, “Faith, here it is. Romeo is banished; and all the world nothing that he dares ne’er come back to challenge you; or if he do, it needs must be by stealth. Then, since the case so stands as now it doth, I think it best you married with the County. O, he’s a lovely gentleman!
Romeo’s a dishclout to him. An eagle, madam, hath not so green, so quick, so fair an eye as Paris hath. Beshrew my very heart, I think you are happy in this second match, for it excels your first; or if it did not, your first is dead-or ‘twere as good he were as living here and you no use of him.” The Nurse here is saying that Paris will treat her better than Romeo, for he is banished. This doesn’t help Juliet because she feels as if that she isn’t helping her, only when she says gone with both of them. Also, the fact that Juliet’s father decided to rush the marriage with Paris helped the suicide of the two lovers. Because Juliet was being commanded to marry Paris despite her own opinion, she felt as if there was no other option of her option.
