Februa is a Roman Goddess in which February is named after she is a benefactor of love and sex. In February she has a feast day and it is part of Lupercalia which is now what we call Valentine's day which is also love day I like Valentine's day it is romantic. The second Month on the calendar February is the third month of winter. February has a birthstone of Aquarius a water Bearer and Pisces the two fishes.

Februa is another word for cleansing and purification, and it reflects the rituals taken before spring comes. It somes form the latin word Februum,because February is a month of purification it is the shortest month on the calendar and has 28 days and it is my birth month on leap year it has 29 which still makes it the shortest month on the calendar. February is a fickle month and so February's meaning and symbolism willl have a fickle fell to. there are many magical workings that can be done in February such as clearing obstacles,fertility,forgiveness,healing,banishing winter,and banishing negative energy. the birth flower of February is violet,primrose which are both very pretty.
