I will advise you think before you act. But if you think that it is okay to die for a good cause than go right ahead and try to win what you think you deserve for yourself or you. We all can win together but alone we shall die one by one. I hope you can see what has happened here today and go home and think about what I have said, and maybe we can make sure that Felicitasha does not die in vain and how she lived to save us all. Her daughter Azalia pursued a career in teaching Art, as did their adoptive son Jasper. Her children then taught their own children like Laura taught them. Laura had ten grandkids. They all loved spending time with her, especially when she made her “famous” ramen for them. The grandchildren will miss their Grandma Laura. Her husband described her as tough to deal with, but being sweet and loving overpowered. Her husband said she could be a real pain in the butt, but that never stopped his love for her. Her co workers described her as raising the children in daycare as if her own. She treated each and every one of the children equally. Anything her male children could do, her female ones could and vice versa. The children loved having her in class. Some of them can even be seen here today. Her friends described her as outgoing, caring, and loving. If they ever needed someone to talk to, she was there. If they ever needed help, she was there. We will conclude this today with a few more words. Laura was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her friends and family miss her dearly, but she is in a better peaceful…

Writing this eulogy allowed me to tap into memories way in the past. Whenever we would come down to visit from Pennsylvania grandma would grasp my wrist and pester me about not speaking creole. I would shrug as not quite sure what to say. Eventually she would let go and this became routine whenever I saw her when I was younger. Also, I was around seven-years-old when grandma came to visit us. On the ride home we began to slap one another on the arm. It was strange but in a good way.…
