That could quickly lead to an emotional state, which could have them thinking about suicide, felons should have their rights because not only getting a job is a problem but not having anywhere to stay because no one will hire them and it’s gonna lead to financial trouble not being able to support their family, doesn’t matter what they …show more content…
with a felony record, and each year around 650,000 inmates are released from prison, out of all 650,000 only 45% were employed after eight months. People have changed for the better looking for a better way to reach their goals for a better future, but still getting treated like trash over something they’ve done in the past, and it isn’t fair.
For example a no name woman, 20, was looking for a job to work with families and children, of course, she wasn’t able to find a job till she was 30. Felons have learned their lessons, they’ve spent years in prison there’s no reason to have them still suffering as a free man or woman, they should be able to have their rights back and also have their records a clean slate, no point in having them carry that record for the rest of their lives especially if they’re changed for the better. Of course our “President” Donald A. Trump doesn’t want to give them that type of control because he’s afraid of felons to have that type of “power” again. Seven percent probably even more of African American aren’t allowed to vote because of being a ex-felon already. Mr.Sabree, 56, was in prison for 10 years, is now selling t-shirt on the street, sadly no stable job to really have him and his family financially stable, a anonymous felon had said she was trying to look for a job for over 3 years now and been refused for having a record. If people are so called trying to clean up the streets, getting drug dealers and addicts off the street, why aren’t they helping them to get recovered? An ex-felon fresh out of prison with no one to turn to, nobody will hire them, what would you think that would lead to? Doing something illegal to get what they need, no one doesn’t want to help them to get back on track, that's why there’s so many homeless people, and drug addicts still out here doing god knows
