Field Observation In The Classroom

The field observation program is an effective program that really helps those students desiring to become a teacher. It is the best way to receive a classroom experience from a different perspective, because of course we have all been through school from a student perspective. Evidently, this is the time too start gaining experience to be prepared for that teacher perspective. Currently, we are gaining a sort of assistant perspective which will help us with the teacher perspective. This is an efficient manner to gain teacher skills and an amazing opportunity to attend. During the observation, I worked with the students mainly within groups. The reason is because the main time I was there the teacher would lecture. The only opportunity I had to work with the children was after the lesson, when she would assign a project or activity for the students. I learned how to work with every type of children, because not every child is the same or learns the same way. Some students needed more attention or more help and others attained the material quicker. Because we might not always expect such behavior and feel like the children will always listen but sometimes this is not the case. Although, this has just been the first field observation I have conducted, I do already work with kids and with the same grade level I currently observed.
