1. Industrial Organizational Psychology
Industrial/Organizational Psychology is a field in which scientific principles are developed and applied in the workplace.
2. Counseling Psychology
Counseling psychology is a psychological specialty that encompasses research and applied work in several broad domains: counseling process and outcome; supervision and training; career development and counseling; and prevention and health.
3. Clinical Psychology
Clinical psychology is an integration of science, theory and clinical knowledge for the purpose of understanding, preventing, and relieving psychologically-based distress or dysfunction and to promote subjective well-being and personal development.
4. Developmental Psychology
Developmental psychology is the scientific study of changes that occur in human beings over the course of their life.
5. Experimental and Human Factors Psychology
This area of specialization includes a diverse group of psychologists who do research in the most basic areas of psychology (e.g., learning, memory, attention, cognition, sensation, perception, motivation, and language). Sometimes their research is conducted with animals instead of humans.
6. Educational Psychology
Educational psychology is the study of how humans learn in educational settings, the effectiveness of educational interventions, the psychology of teaching, and the social psychology of schools as organizations.
7. Social Psychology
Social psychology is the scientific study of how people's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are influenced by the actual, imagined, or implied presence of others.
8. School Psychology
School psychology is a field that applies principles of clinical psychology and educational psychology to the diagnosis and treatment of children's and adolescents' behavioral and learning problems, to teachers, politicians and other responsible persons in the institutionalized education systems with pedagogic, didactic or systemic-organizational problems, sometimes also integrating parents of school children to find common solutions.
9. Physiological Psychology
Physiological psychology is a subdivision of behavioral neuroscience (biological psychology) that studies the neural mechanisms of perception and behavior through direct manipulation of the brains of nonhuman animal subjects in controlled experiments.

Environmental psychology is an interdisciplinary field focused on the interplay between humans and their surroundings.
11. Health Psychology
Health psychology is the study of psychological and behavioral processes in health, illness and healthcare.
12. Family Psychology
Family Psychology is a specialty in professional psychology that is focused on the emotions, thoughts, and behavior of individuals, couples, and families in relationships and in the broader environment in which they function.
13. Rehabilitation Psychology
Rehabilitation Psychology focuses on behavioral and psychological treatment for patients and families coping with chronic illness, chronic pain and disability.
14. Psychometrics and Quantitative Psychology
Psychometrics is the field of study concerned with the theory and technique of psychological measurement, which includes the measurement of knowledge, abilities, attitudes, personality traits, and educational measurement.
15. Forensic Psychology
Forensic psychology is the intersection between psychology and the justice system. It involves understanding criminal law in the relevant jurisdictions in order to be able to interact appropriately with judges, attorneys and other legal professionals.
16. Neuropsychology/Psychobiology
Neuropsychology studies the structure and function of the brain as they relate to specific psychological processes and behaviors.
17. Geropsychology/Psychology of Aging
Geropsychology is the area of psychology that studies the behavioural and psychological effects of aging.
18. Sport Psychology
It involves the study of how psychological factors affect performance and how participation in sport and exercise affect psychological and physical factors.
19. Consumer Psychology
Consumer Psychology is the study of human responses to product and service related information and experiences.
20. Aviation Psychology
Aviation psychology involves the study of human's behaviors, actions, cognitive and emotional processes in the aviation field and also investigates the psychological problems encountered in the flight deck.
