In Ltr. Rul 20028806, the shareholders of a corporation owned, managed, and operated country club were given discounts for the use of the club’s facilities. The club was located in a community where both non shareholders and shareholders resided. Shareholders received discounts on membership dues as well as other incentives inside the club. Taxpayer requested a letter ruling on whether or not the discounts received constitute as constructive dividends received. The IRS indeed ruled the discounts received by the taxpayer constituted as constructive dividends under section 316 and the distribution applied to section 301.…

Ever wondered what would people do if they had all the money in the world? Would they spend it on themselves? How about their household, allies, or neighbors? If they could spend on them, would they spend money to those in need? For those who aren’t as prosperous, and are bound in the hertz of a life they cannot contract out of. Unless there are people out there who are willing to consider a stand fix the subjects they’re confronting. There are two print advertisements that strongly believe in helping the world a safer place.…

Throughout the modern era of conflict two infantry rifles have set the standard for all others, the M-16 and the AK-47. No other infantry rifle has shaped history more in the past sixty years than these two. They have encountered one another countless times since they first clashed in Vietnam, and critics have compared the two ever since.…
The painting that I am choosing to talk about is called Circling the Enemy by Z.S. Liang. What this painting means is that basically in the mid-nineteenth century, there were problems with the residents of Native Americans got more aggressive as many more settlers continued their expedition in the Westward Expansion. But, what I thought this meant at first when I saw this was how the Indians were fighting for their land because settlers were moving west and got to their land. What I think this picture represents or from what I see is that it has a pretty dark story behind it like it represents war or something that has to do with fighting. What I also see is that it uses more dark and neutrals colors as well. It has very fine details to where you can see the veins coming out of the Indians, the facial expressions on their faces, and the muscles on the horse’s legs from running.…

I’ve always looked for a meaning or purpose that could connect with my life, but how can a 17 year old boy decipher and discover such a thing on his own? A possibility can be found through ways of expressing passion to the public. Such as movies, songs, poems, or even a piece of art. And even though I have seen or found some type of message in all these, I’ve found a special one with a film by the name of The American Sniper. This is a film about a U.S Navy Seal Officer by the name of Chris Kyle that was during the fight on terrorism. The things I can take from this film that lets it connect so well with my life is a certain scene about a saying of a sheep dog, and the similarities I can see with the protagonist and my father. Ideas and…

Dialogue is spoken language used to convey messages between people. Throughout this term, we have studied dialogue and how it has revealed the way that the features of verbal and non verbal exchanges between participants have the capacity to reveal much about the nature of power and control.. The poems used to study dialogue were ‘Weapons Training’ and ‘Up the Wall’ by Bruce Dawe, as well as the additional text of ‘……’ by . In my exploration of dialogue in the two poems and the related text, it becomes apparent that gender and power differences may be expressed through the presence of dominant and silenced voices along with a broad range of representational techniques.…
I am going to micro analyse the scene from ‘American sniper’ when Chris Kyle, played by Bradley Cooper shoots a Taliban soldier carrying a rocket launcher and a little boy then picks it up. American Sniper is a film based on the biography of Chris Kyle (America’s most dangerous sniper), it was released in 2014 and was directed by Clint Eastwood. This essay will focus on the way that key micro features help to create a realistic film world for the viewer. The selected micro features are ……
Sunday, January 10, 2010 was an eye opening experience for me: our children’s Pastor preached and his topic was “Ambushed”. At hearing the topic my mind was reeling and still is with how the enemy deceives us. The enemy’s job is to steal, kill, and destroy. And most times we think death and that is it, but there is so much more!…
It was the summer of 2007, the day after the fourth of july. Fireworks were still going off. The atmosphere was light, filled with laughter and smiles. Nobody had noticed my cousin’s body drop to the pavement but me.I was staring at the group of masked people when it all happened. I vividly remember them approaching him whilst pointing a gun to his head. After tugging onto my mother’s pink silk shirt and pointing towards my cousin, it was chaotic. Everyone had ran towards him except for my aunt. My aunt’s feet were glued to the pavement and her mouth stood agape. A tear ran down her cheek and she then collapsed. A couple days after my cousin’s neurosurgery, my aunt remained the same. During his recovery she never really spoke unless she needed…
Remember the mass shooting where two young boys opened fire at Columbine High School killing a dozen young students and injuring twenty-four before taking their own lives? Or the massacre in Jonesboro, Arkansas when two middle school students opened fire killing five students and injuring ten? Or the mass shooting at Virginia Tech or Sandy Hook elementary school the list goes on. We see mass shootings happen yearly. In 2015, there were reported 372 mass shootings in the United States, which is equivalent to one mass shooting everyday of the year and as of June 2016 their were reported being 133 mass shootings in the year 2016 (gun violence archive). The accessibility to guns has become…
