I really enjoyed the music aspect and the contradicting of styles between classical and jazz. The culmination at the end in the hall with the main actress Marjorie Lord and Woody Herman. Combining the two styles into one was pretty intriguing since the two styles of music were at odds the entire film.
The jazz artist in this film were some of the best of the time and really
bring to life the music and contrast between the more classical style also featured. I really saw how Billie Holiday told stories with her voice and singing. One of the things that stick out to me from class like mentioned before is the story telling of jazz music so I found it ironic the community within New Orleans was called Storyville.
