TASK 1: TESCO
Tesco PLC is a British multinational retailer based in Chestnut, Hertfordshire, England, and United Kingdom. As per its revenues, it happens to be the second largest retailer in the world; the largest being Carrefour and Wal-Mart. Tesco has stores in fourteen different countries across Europe, Asia and North America (Tesco Annual Review, pp. 9) and is considered to be the leader of the grocery market in the United Kingdom where it possesses share of around 30 %. The company was established in year 1919 by Jack Cohen in the form of market stalls and has come a long way in development since then. It has expanded its business to various new cultures and geographical regions and also introduced many new types of products and services to scope.
