Finding Nemo: Character Analysis
My favorite Disney character is “Dory” from “Finding Nemo.” Dory is the friendliest fish in the ocean. Although she suffers from short term memory loss, to Dory the glass is always half full. She loves to chat and tell her life story, but she can’t, because of her short-term memory loss. She loves to help others, and won’t let anything get in her way of doing what she wants to do. Her optimism proves an invaluable quality to help overcome the impossible. She has a heart of gold. She doesn’t give up fast and she makes the best out of the satiation. She makes friends so easily. In some ways, I am pretty similar to Dory. Like her I’m friendly and like to be happy most of the time. I like to work hard towards my goals and I won’t give up so easily, just like her. I like helping others, when they in need of help, even though they might not show it. I also have my different. I don’t make friends that easily and I kind of fell nerves when I talk to …show more content…
They said that, I like to read a lot during my spare time, and I am very intelligent, just like she did. They said I have nice heart and I see the beauty in everything. I am being very confident and I often don’t listen to others, and I’m not afraid to speak my own thoughts just her. Most importantly I am very independent. One also said that I like to frequently dream about a life of adventure and romance just like she does. I asked my mom what Disney character she thinks I am similar to, and she said Cinderllas steps sister. When I asked of all the Disney characters why them, she said because just like them I am lazy and I like to order her to make my favorite foods. The characters that my friends and my mother choose, were different then, the one that I choose, and I think that’s because everyone sees me differently. Everyone has their own view on

I am not alike this character in many ways. I don’t have any little brothers with disabilities, or little brothers at all. Nor do I want to suffocate them with a pillow. I’m not embarrassed of my brothers, for any type of reason. I don’t call my brothers names, so people don't expect much from them. I don’t think they’re a let down, they’re quite great, intelligent, and impressive people. Of course this character is a very round character, from the beginning to the end of the story the change quite a bit. I definitely relate to the character at the end of the story, but hardly at all in the beginning.…

Imagining yourself as a character is an odd thing to do, but relating to characters is something we do without even noticing. It’s awesome to watch a T.V. show and knowing that a specific character is similar to you. T.V. shows are great because we can all relate to them somehow, but it can be a little difficult to find specific characters that match our personalities. Afterall, it can be tough to point out the bad characteristics that are within us, but it’s something we should all be able to do and should be opened to do. The three fictional characters that most represent my personality are Dr. Gregory House from House for his outspoken personality, Dory from Finding Dory for her horrible memory, and Haley Dunphy from Modern Family because…

Have you ever found a character, maybe in a tv show, or book, that you can relate to the most (especially by a landslide)? Some people could say yes to the moon and back, while some people have never related that much to a character in their life. For me, I’m more of the former, and I found a character to relate to in To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee; Scout Finch. To explain, Scout and I take longer than others to understand things, which could cause frustration in others (mainly peers), and we’re both put under at least some pressure to be more “lady-like”. There’s other similarities too, but they’re either not as significant or I couldn’t find as much quotes to support them.…

In the novel Treasure Island, written by Robert Louis Stevenson, a young boy named Jim Hawkins must battle against a group of mutineers on an island, risking the life of himself and his friends, in order to be the first to find Captain Flint’s hidden treasure. The characters’ decisions and traits in Treasure Island demonstrate the theme of greed. Greed is a constant and inordinate craving, want, or desire for money or possessions; solely for the interests and pleasures of oneself that is often times never satisfying. In this novel, Robert Louis Stevenson uses the theme of greed through the decisions and character traits of Long John Silver, Israel Hands, and George Merry to teach readers to be content and happy with what you do have, by describing…

Andrew Clarke during the movie has shown characteristics that are very similar to my personality in lots of ways. First of all, Andrew is an athlete. He has shown this by the clothes that he is wearing since he wore a sports jacket and by the way he talks, and how he fought John Bender in the beginning of the movie. I relate to this because I play lots of sports such as tennis, soccer and badminton, and I am physically fit. Since I am good at these sports I believe that I am an athlete. Andrew is respectful to everyone during the movie. He has shown this when John was picking on Bryan and Claire, but he stopped John and respected Bryan and Claire and gave them their attention. I relate to this because I also respect people who are getting bullied by helping them when they are being accused and comforting them. Finally, Andrew has shown that he gets angry easily. He has shown this when John Bender makes fun of him during the beginning and he kept on shouting back and he always tried to fight John Bender thinking he can beat him. I also relate to this because I always get angry when people make fun of me since it is irritating and I get annoyed when they repeat it over…

She’s clever, hilarious, generous, kind, loving, intelligent, and has a strong moral compass. When I look at her, I see hope. Ultimately I see hope for me. While I often contemplate with envy the image of perfection I see in her, I have come to realize that her success story could be mine as well. She gives me an ideal to strive for. Unlike some role models, she is real, I know her well, and we have a shared history. I see her human flaws along with her perfection. In this way her level of success is not some unattainable ideal, but something that I know I have the ability to reach. Her success motivates me to work through my own issues in a way that other people’s success cannot.…
