Similarities Between Finding Nemo And Haley Dunphy From Modern Family
Imagining yourself as a character is an odd thing to do, but relating to characters is something we do without even noticing. It’s awesome to watch a T.V. show and knowing that a specific character is similar to you. T.V. shows are great because we can all relate to them somehow, but it can be a little difficult to find specific characters that match our personalities. Afterall, it can be tough to point out the bad characteristics that are within us, but it’s something we should all be able to do and should be opened to do.The three fictional characters that most represent my personality are Dr. Gregory House from House for his outspoken personality, Dory from Finding Dory for her horrible memory, and Haley Dunphy from Modern Family because …show more content…
I happened to have similar character traits to a few fictional characters. Dr. Gregory House from the T.V. show House is one of them. He has a strong personality and is known for his rough criticism and brutal honesty. I relate to him because I’m also honest. In my world, I’d rather be honest and hurt people’s feelings, than to lie to them straight to their face and let people make a fool out of themselves. Another character that is similar to me, is Dory from the movie, Finding Nemo. She has a horrible memory and can’t remember half the things she does or says. I’m like that too, I can say something and let ten minutes pass by and I won’t be able to go back to the subject due to having a bad memory. Last, a character from the T.V. show Modern Family, Haley Dunphy also relates to me. She is currently going through adolescence and going through the dating, rebel, and high school stages of her life. Her parents are more of a family type, they don’t let her go out as much. I’m also going through those stages as well. I want to be treated as a young adult and not as a child. My parents are used to having me around, but I feel it’s fair for me to hang out with the people I love that is not necessarily

I am not alike this character in many ways. I don’t have any little brothers with disabilities, or little brothers at all. Nor do I want to suffocate them with a pillow. I’m not embarrassed of my brothers, for any type of reason. I don’t call my brothers names, so people don't expect much from them. I don’t think they’re a let down, they’re quite great, intelligent, and impressive people. Of course this character is a very round character, from the beginning to the end of the story the change quite a bit. I definitely relate to the character at the end of the story, but hardly at all in the beginning.…

Have you ever found a character, maybe in a tv show, or book, that you can relate to the most (especially by a landslide)? Some people could say yes to the moon and back, while some people have never related that much to a character in their life. For me, I’m more of the former, and I found a character to relate to in To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee; Scout Finch. To explain, Scout and I take longer than others to understand things, which could cause frustration in others (mainly peers), and we’re both put under at least some pressure to be more “lady-like”. There’s other similarities too, but they’re either not as significant or I couldn’t find as much quotes to support them.…

I believe I would relate more to Jeannine from Ordinary people, because of the circumstances she had to go through. When her parents were getting separated, when she began to explain to Conrad it was clear that i had a connection with her character. When Jeannines parents got a divorce she had quite some trouble going through all the pain she felt alone, so she tried to find a way to hurt herself, she went on with a couple of kids in the neighborhood, began to smoke, and stealing. As she is telling Conrad about what actually happened in Ohio, she tells him the it wasn't her parents fault she was doing all those bad decisions, she explains that she was doing it to hurt herself. But she asks Conrad not to change a thing between them she doesn’t want him to…

There are many traits which I have that co-respond with the blue card. Sympathetic is a key trait in which I use when describing myself to others. When I watch movies, I put myself into various characters positions and I tend to cry if they are put in or dealing with stressful situations. I find myself doing this not only with fictional characters, but with my friends as well. Another trait from the blue card in which I associate myself with is enthusiasm . I tend to become very excited about various events. I believe that compassion walks hand in hand with sympathy therefor I believe I am compassionate as well. As I mentioned, I cry when my friends or fictional characters are put in stressful situations. In addition to crying, I try my best to help or pretend to help with the situation. I give my best advice and give them an example of how I felt in a similar situation and how it turned out. I like to believe it helps them in one way or another. . I enjoy talking about my past experiences, my life journey, and anything in between. There are many more traits from the blue card that I associate myself with, however these 4 are the words I found to be the most obvious.…

The character that I choose was Lennie from the story “Of Mice and Men”. The three characteristics traits that really stand out in this book/describe Lennie is; childish, forgetful, and nonfilter. In the story Lennie shows many signs of his childish side, like when George asks Lennie to give him the mouse and he responds with “what mouse I aint’ got no mouse George” (41), when George knows very well that Lennie has a mouse, as he can see it in his hand. Another example of Lennie acting childish is, throughout the story Lennie is always sneaking out to go watch over the puppies, and always asking George when he can have one of his own to keep. Another characteristic trait that describes Lennie is; forgetful.…

The fact that my favorite jelly bean is yellow says something about my personality. Firstly, yellows are not usually outspoken. For instance, when my friends and I make plans to hang out I only say something if asked even if I do not like the plans. That is how I act in most if not all situations. Secondly, I have trouble making decisions in a lot of situations. In fact, I spent up to thirty minutes deciding if I wanted to go to a rodeo when my mother asked if I wanted to go. I tend to take as much tie as I can to make decisions I did with the rodeo issue. Thirdly, I attempt to understand why someone thinks the way they do. As an example, my friend mentioned his favorite character in a game was different than mine, so I asked my friend to describe…

Andrew Clarke during the movie has shown characteristics that are very similar to my personality in lots of ways. First of all, Andrew is an athlete. He has shown this by the clothes that he is wearing since he wore a sports jacket and by the way he talks, and how he fought John Bender in the beginning of the movie. I relate to this because I play lots of sports such as tennis, soccer and badminton, and I am physically fit. Since I am good at these sports I believe that I am an athlete. Andrew is respectful to everyone during the movie. He has shown this when John was picking on Bryan and Claire, but he stopped John and respected Bryan and Claire and gave them their attention. I relate to this because I also respect people who are getting bullied by helping them when they are being accused and comforting them. Finally, Andrew has shown that he gets angry easily. He has shown this when John Bender makes fun of him during the beginning and he kept on shouting back and he always tried to fight John Bender thinking he can beat him. I also relate to this because I always get angry when people make fun of me since it is irritating and I get annoyed when they repeat it over…

I act like almost all of the seven dwarfs. Surprisingly, I act most like Doc, but I also have characteristics of some of the other dwarfs too. Personally, I feel that I relate most to Dr. Stonehill. While I’m not making any scientific breakthroughs, I tend to looking at situations more logically and objectively. I also prefer to do things my way, or a way I know well, rather than bending to do what others tell me. I, like Stonehill, have little patience for rules if I feel there’s not a good enough reason to follow them, and I never compromise with the enemy. While I admire Crowley’s love for his children, I don’t like kids much myself, and I don’t think I would have walked away from my job to pursue what could…

Have you ever wondered how can you identify yourself? In my view, to identify something as one‘s characteristic features is to take a look at something that has happened to the person and had some sort of an impact.
