Fireball The Bull Monologue

i could hear the crowd cheering from a mile away…. the adrenaline from it was beginning swell in the cockles of my heart i wasn’t even there yet and i was excited ...as we reached the arena i could hear the shouts and cheers of those whom were getting a thrill of what they saw others would scream at the sheer horror of it…. as i walked through the gates i could feel a rush of excitement as i looked through the pathway leading to the seats ….when i finally sat down the last fight was clearing out... a mere 10 minutes later the new opponents were brought out of their cage ..as the announcer introduced the two new opponents. Fireball the raging red bull vs Tiberius the Brolic Bulldog... and we watched as the Giant Bull Faced the medium sized
bulldog the whole crowd leaned over as the the two were let loose on one another... we watched as the dog went for the bulls legs and as the bull bucked and kicked, the dog ran around in a circle as it began to lung and nip at the throat of the bull ….when he finally got ahold of the throat the bull let out a loud cry and the dog began to shake its head...
then out of no where two more dogs ran out and began to flank the bull …...as one dog jumped on to the bulls back and began to rip into the bulls back trying to cripple it there was a tearing sound and the bull began to bleed profusely….people around me and i myself began to scream with excitement we watched a bit longer as the crowed cheered and screamed the adrenaline was flowing through us all …..toward the end of the fight two of the dogs had received injuries but were still able to fight the bull…. Fireball had began panting for the dogs had done a number on his jugular and he was losing a lot of blood ….it had reached the final straw and tiberius had came in for the kill as he leaped in fireballs face and began to bite on the nose and mouth of the bull like a lion would to suffocate a kill ….as the others two dogs went for the bulls back legs tearing through his achilles tendon crippling him... and with a few shakes of the head fireball was no more and the crowd Cheered with excitement as the mighty beast had finally fallen... The term Bloodsport is used to identify sports that are actually so forms of animal cruelty like cock fighting . and dog fighting these. are the most common that we see as bad but these two are not alone there are many forms of blood sports for example, there are others such as bull baiting and bear baiting. Now when people are questioned “,what is a bloodsport ?,” what might their answer be ? When I heard of the term bloodsport I
didn't know what it actually was until I heard that dog fighting and cock fighting were a part of bloodsports, The best way to cut it down for people is that a bloodsport is a sport in which humans will pin animals in an area alone and force them to fight each other, usually to the death. For a dog fight, if one dog loses and doesn't die it will be killed by the owner because it did not win the fight,one of the most known cases of dog fights is that of famous football star Michael Vick , He had been fighting dogs for awhile , when investigated many dogs were found in enclosures on his property, Bloodsports can be traced all the way back to 13 B.C. Roman Empire , over 600 beasts had been slaughtered in the Roman Circus under the rule of Emperor Claudius people who watched would cheer in the crowd, Dog fighting can be traced back to 43 AD, dogs would fight alongside of the romans and the british, the kind of dog the romans used in war was called a Molossus similar to the british Mastiffs , the Molossus would be imported into the colosseum and used for wars that would be waged in those times.The practice of pitting dogs against other animals, such as bulls and bears, continued through medieval times in England until it was outlawed in 1835 by the Parliament in the Humane Act of 1835.in 1817, The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was brought over seas to the Americas, with the trasportation of these dogs also cam the introduction to Dog fighting in the U.S although it can be dated all the way back to the 1750s, the sport did not become popular until sometime soon after the civil war had taken place in 1861-1865 that this bloodsport had become such a sought after thing to see, railroads would commercialize special Fares to dog fights in Louisville public forums like Kit Burns tavern.the Sportsmans Hall in the Burrough of Manhattan NY was also a place where dog fights would be regularly hosted, many of the dogs that were used to fight in these places would be Shipped in from england and ireland since Bull and Bear baiting had been pronounced illegal in these places.now in modern days Dog fighting has been become illegal in America, But many people still do it.
the social Outlook on dog fighting would be more shocking to people, you would think that people whom have more money would be the main catalyst that produce these dog fights , but infact that is wrong rich men might attend a dog fight here and there and
they may also have a dog to fight , but the most commonly know dogfighters are actually the lower working class man, now the reason why you ask ? Not only is it some sort of Manly macho thing to where he fights dogs for this sense of self gain, but it is because this has become a source of major income for them, it is proven that dogfighters make more in one round of dogfights than a man who would sell Narcotics on the streets, dog fights are also connected with gangs in Bigger city areas, where gang members will pit their dogs up against a rivals dog, for bragging rights and such or to settle some kind of turf match. Now there are actually 3 kinds of Dog fighters out there and they are listed as , Street Fighters,Hobbyist, and lastly Professionals,... Street fighters are mostly associated with the gang activity and the the whole thing on turf wars, these fights are most commonly Spontaneous, Not organized and usually conducted for drugs or bragging rights to the owner of the winning dog these fights usually happen on Childrens playgrounds back alleys and Street corners, after these fights take place the animals are usually found by the police either Dead already or slowly dying. a Hobbyist is a person who fights dogs for the money that they get out of it, and also for entertainment purposes these people will usually have multiple dogs taking action in about a Several Organized fights, these fights are usually set in specific geographic places , with hobbyist also they are very well acquainted with one another and they usually make plans for certain dogs to fight one another in times after they are done winning a match… and Lastly Professional dog fighters are the ones who breed their dogs with each fighters generation adding new skills to these “Game Dogs” they are very Prideful toward their dogs pedigree, these dogs fighters typically make a very big amount of money from stud fees to breed these Pups, in addition to the money that they win from the dogs winning fights these professionals tend to own at least 50 dogs or more , these professionals will also use trade journals such as “Your Friend and Mine, Game dog times. The American Warrior, and The pitbull Chronicle” in these they will advertise dog fights and sell training equipment for future dogs and for future dog fighters, some of these professionals can work on a national and International Secret network, if their dogs end up losing a fight and survive the owner will end up killing the dog themselves, by Strangulation, Drowning Hanging, Gunshot, electrocution and or some other method, and if one of their dogs is aggressive toward humans will be sold to street fighters, so in a sense the whole Fighter rank end up being a sort of Circle of revolution with in the whole Blood sport of Dog fighting, and it just seems that even though these fights are illegal the people involved tend to find ways to stay hidden from the system and these poor animals are all stuck suffering and having to fight each other for the enjoyment of the human race … and if you have to ask me humans are just a sick bunch of being that think they are better than everything out there and we treat animals as if they don't have souls or emotions and it is truly sad to hear that these animals have to suffer so much, and hopefully somewhere down the line we will find a system that can really help all of these animals and put all of these sick human beings behind bars for their unjust treatment of animals, and if you ask me they should be forced to fight each other and if they lose death should be the punishment as well, i feel that we as humans are suppose to help all creatures on this earth not treat them as lessors and not take care of them. but i don't feel that people will ever see that and all of these bad things towards animals will still go on until we are too late to even help ourselves.
