Five Faith Flags Research Paper
In the paper, I will be providing five faith flags. Sharing faith stories provides listeners an opportunity to start a spiritual conversation. For example, when someone expresses a need in their life and you may senses a natural opportunity to ask questions. Then, it may have an opportunity to share a story from your own life that tells how God helped you with a similar need. When you explain about faith flags, provide your listener with stories, use conversational language, don't preach, and most importantly explain how God is meeting your deepest inner needs. I will be providing five different scenarios to utilze faith flags. For example, the first faith flag could occur on a beach or a nice location where there is a sunset or sunrise. In this situation, you are with a non-Christian watching the sunset. As you are admiring the beautiful scenery you could state, “God’s creation is so beautiful”. Then this could lead into a …show more content…
Your friend is constantly worried about the future. For example, worried about their future job, where they are going to live, who they are going to marry and other things. You could say to your friend, “God has a plan for you”. This could lead to discussion about God’s future for your friend’s life.
The fifth scenario is talking to a family member or friend about someone having a miscarriage. Your friend is talking about how unfair that someone could lose a baby. You could state, “It is a blessing in disguise”. This could lead into further discussion that everything happens in God’s plan. For example, maybe that miscarriage could lead someone to the Lord.
When opportunities occur, give people "faith flags". This is a brief statements that identify you as someone who is serious about faith. These five faith flags may lead someone to Lord or they may plant a seed in someone heart. Regardless, theses five faith flags can provide a great spiritual

Like anything in life, faith starts out for most as a journey. Often growth in faith is so gradual it is hardly noticeable. There’s no thundering voice of God striking down the disbelievers, but rather small miracles like getting an A on a test with little preparation. It is only self reflection faith grows because of struggles in life. In A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, John Wheelwright’s faith and his belief in miracles juxtaposes Owen Meany’s innate beliefs. John Irving follows John Wheelwright’s growth in faith and miracles and highlights Owen’s steady support.…

Some disorders cause the thyroid to make more thyroid hormones than the body needs. This is called hyperthyroidism, or overactive thyroid. The most common cause of hyperthyroidism is Graves’ disease. Graves’ disease is an autoimmune disorder, in which the body 's own defense system, called the immune system, stimulates the thyroid. This causes it to make too much of the thyroid hormones. Hyperthyroidism can also be caused by thyroid nodules that prompt excess thyroid hormones to be made. A thyroid nodule is a swelling in one section of the thyroid gland. The nodule can be solid or filled with fluid or blood. You can have just one thyroid nodule or many. Most thyroid nodules do not cause symptoms. But some thyroid nodules make too much of the thyroid hormones, causing hyperthyroidism. Sometimes, nodules get to be big enough to cause problems with swallowing or breathing. In fewer than 10 percent of cases, thyroid nodules are cancerous. Thyroid nodules are quite common. By the time you reach the age of 50, you have a 50 percent chance of having a thyroid nodule larger than a half inch wide.…

Your paper should not exceed 1 ½ pages and it must not be shorter than 1 page. Such brevity is designed to help you present your testimony concisely and effectively. It is concise because there may be times when you only have a moment to share your faith. It is effective because you will have to narrow your testimony to include the most essential elements to sharing your faith with an unbeliever. All parts of your story are important, and God will use all of your story to reach a variety of people. But for this assignment, the focus should be on the unbeliever. After reading or hearing your story, will he/she know why and how to receive salvation?…

Written in September 1892, the Pledge if Allegiance was meant for the 400th anniversary of Columbus's arrival to the New World. It was created by Francis Bellamy. It originally read: I pledge allegiance to my flag and to the republic for which it stands is, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Years later in 1954, the words "under God" added after the words "one nation". Many people have gotten into this issue, because it's important to have access to freedom of speech and freedom of religion. In other words you're supposed to be able to do and believe as you wish. A small percentage of people believe that it should be removed from the pledge, because they don't think it's right to "force". But after this many years is…
