If Hamlet were to leave a bouquet of flowers by Ophelia’s grave after she died it would consist of: aloes, yellow chrysanthemums, dark geraniums, honeysuckles, yellow lilies, marigolds, and peonies. He would give her aloes and marigolds because they are symbolic of grief and despair. Hamlet feels despair and is grieving over the death or suicide of Ophelia. He would give her yellow chrysanthemums which symbolizes slighted love. Hamlet secretly loved Ophelia but could not show it so that his plan would follow action and he would seem insane. “It’s time for lunch!” the teacher announced. Candide was quite confused, as the clocked seemed to read 11:00 PM. He was very impressed with the teacher’s tremendous analytical proficiency, for she could figure out what time it was, even though the clock was clearly not accurate. As the loud and droning sound of the bell rang, all the children ran out of the classroom as soon as they could. “How fantastic! I can’t wait to taste the mystical delicacies of Diamond Bar High School!” Candide fought his way through the crowd, but eventually reached the lunch line. Standing in the hot sun, Candide squinted as he struggled to read the lunch menu. “Special: week-old rice with a side of mystery meat emulsion” caught Candide’s eye. Candide’s mouth watered with delight as his eyes feasted upon those words. He couldn’t wait through the long line, so he walked past ten people in front of him, stood next to an unsuspecting individual, and made a new friend. As soon as he received his food, he exclaimed, “This is fantastic, this is what I have been waiting all that time for! It looks too good to eat.” Candide stared down at his tantalizing and healthful meal as he picked it up and took a bite. “Amazing! This is the most enjoyable flavor I have ever had the pleasure of tasting! There is nothing I admire more than a pungent and flavorful mix of rubber and…

It was enough to prove that she liked me.”(P.233). This explains how Mrs. Flowers was able to shape Marguerite with her poetic voice and her offer to make her feels special by giving lemonade…

Aspiration, the journey from desire to possession through a breathing-taking fear that the goal may never be reached, but in most cases it’s the goal that diminishes the fear. It diminishes the fear merely into a Dandelion seed that one day will float in the air. Take Angela for example, she grew up in a small village in South America with a mouth full of dreams and an ocean filled with overgrown seaweeds that were hungry for the light that her dreams emitted* from her own eyes. Her dream was to become a famous writer, but when her parents could not provide their family with basic necessities, Angela had to leave school and find a way to help support her family. When every turn seemed to lead more into a worthless cause, she came across an opportunity that promised Angela the ability to work and continue her education. At…
