Client current diagnosis: The patient is a heavy smoker; smoking at least two packs of cigarettes a day. The patient inherited her family’s restaurant and admits to spending most of her waking hours there. The patient eats at her restaurant two-three times a day. She admits she has been dizzy for the last 4 months, and has lost 25 lb. due to nausea.
Patient recently had stents placed
in her heart following a heart attack and instable angina. Patient recovery is depending on two factors; decreasing her stress level and her diet. The stents are in place and blood flow is normal. The patient was unable to receive IVP dye before the procedure due to an allergy to eggs and shellfish. Her cholesterol level was 352 before the procedure. Blood Pressure: 210/120. Temp: 98. Pulse: 52/weak pulse
