Technology is a word that is defined as inventions, improvements, additions or it simply means human products. Technology can reflect how people think about other things. Therefore, people define technology differently because it reflects different historical and cultural context. I believe that technology is the thing that shows the progress of human, society or even nature development. It has changed the way in which people live their life, the way that people see things and the possibility of the future, in short, technology could change everything. However, from my point of view, technology has majorly changed our life. Food has always been the most import thing as same as water to human life. If food has changed, people would change too. From the film called “Food Sequence”, I can tell there was a big change that happened to what or how we eat over the decades. Besides, obesity, GMO and food safety have always been the subject that people and scientist
They have all shown how the food were grown, processed and produced. For instance, chickens are irregularly huge that compare to organically fed chicken. They can not barely stand up and move around, instead just sitting there waiting for food. It funny to see that in the film, people have the technology to use the truck that has specific tools to collect all those chickens and “suck” them into the back room and put them on the trays. Later on, factory workers can clean, weight chickens after they got slaughtered. It is a massive factory where process the chicken, they are more than 200 workers in the room looking down and exam those chicken one by one. I feel like technologies really does help us a lot dealing with heavy workloads and make things become easier for us at some
