PEAK by Roland Smith is a book that is about a boy named Peak, and must go to his real father after an accident with him climbing a skyscraper. After that he finds out he’s going to climb mount Everest. He spends more time with his father, he gets a little bit closer to him, like as if they’re relationship was like building a stone wall, making it strong and sturdy, which is just like making a better relationship.
On page 144 “don’t make it to the summit the story will shift again. It might be about how you didn’t make it- what stopped you. It might be the friendship between you two.” Which can symbolize how Peak and Josh’s relationship can be like a brick wall, it gets shifted, remade and moved around. It shows how they’re
