What is your congregation? (Name characteristics that influence your choice your choice of topic) I hear from people in my congregation talking about life is a continuous suffering and one must suffer here on earth to make one’s salvation after the person passes away.
6. What is your purpose for preaching this sermon to this congregation? (Create a Sermon Purpose Statement) Given that some members of The Redeemer UMC do not have a clear understanding about what salvation means in Jesus, I want to preach this topic not only to clarify what salvation is, but also the to let them know about process of salvation while living here
