I believe that fraternities and sororities should not be banned from college campuses because they are more than just the steretypes that are said about them. Fraternties and Sororties are an important aspect to the college community. They make it their duty to give back to their community and dedicate service to those that need it the most. This shouldnt be hard because everyone that is aprat of your organixation makes sure that each meember stays on top of their school work. If help is needed everyone will get that proper help that they need. Community service and academics are very important task that helps build you as a person as well as those around you. Being grreek helps you more then hurt you. There are so many postive outcomes that comes out of this wonderful opportunity if not taken advantage of. Becoming greek can help you become a better person build on your indivudal character. It can help you gain meaniful skills that are needed for while you attend college and can be beneficial after college and go into the work world. There are so many rumors and stereotypes about them that could be true its hard to figure out what to believe. Most fraternities are known for abusing drugs and alcohol and using it to take advantage of girls in anyway they see fit. There are so many young girls that are raped by frats it makes it hard to be against them being banned from college campuses. If they causing this much harm to others then why are they even here in the first place. This is a big issue that is still occuring today but this isnt the onmly thing that need s to be deal with. There is also hazing whiuch could be danger in most situations. And its not jus fraterntites that haze people its also sororties that does it as well. When you are interested in a greek organiation deoending on the organzation and what they beleive in they might haze you in some way to see if you got what it takes to be one of them. Now I understand that people have to work really hard to prove they got what it takes to be apart of the organoxation they feels fit them best. Bbut in some cases certain people are haze to the point they can be serioulsy injured and possibly hurt from this and sent to the hospital or worst there has been cases where indivudals were killed during this hazing process. In my opinon this is wrong because some organizations dont need to take it this far to the point were they taking another persons
