Frederick Douglas: A Short Story Of A Tragic Hero
One day Nike had a kid named Douglas. Douglas never really new who his father was. One day Douglas heard that there was a minotaur terrorizing a small village. Before Douglas could go to save the village he needed a weapon so he asked the gods for his weapon of choices. The weapon is a Glock 18 with extended clip and hollow points just so there's no suffering. The next day Douglas got ready to leave his small little secluded house. Before he left he packed a week's worth of food because he didn't know how long it would take him. He walked towards the next town to get a horse so he didn’t have to walk. One person asked “ What did it look like”. Another person asked “ can you stay here and protect us?” Douglas was shocked at that comment that he didn’t know what to say. But he ended up getting these words out of his mouth “ I'm sorry but I can't.” The people were mad about that but the had to respect that he came and killed the minotaur without having a reward …show more content…
His mom was proud about what he had done “ I'm so proud of you Douglas,” .
“ I know mom.” Douglas said After Douglas stopped talking to his mom he went straight to the middle of town and a big crowd had already gathered. Douglas stepped up onto the stage and started talking . ‘As some you might have heard I went out on a hunt to kill the minotaur that was terrorizing a small village”.
“Why did you want to go and try to kill his minotaur when it's not even hurting us”? A man asked
“The reason I went out to kill the minotaur was because people in that village were in trouble and I thought that if I killed the minotaur the villages around us will be in eas.” Douglas said
“Was it scary to go into a dark cave and kill the minotaur”? A kid asked
“ It was scary because I didn't know what was going to happen but when I seen it running at me i did the first thing that I knew to pull up and go for a kill shot”. Douglas said
“ What were your thoughts going into this?” a women asked
“I went into the hunt with positive thoughts because i knew if i start thinking bad something bad will happen.” Douglas

    The “Narrative life of Frederick Douglass” was more than an autobiography. It summarized historically, politically and legally what it was like to be a slave back in the 1840’s and on, but through he’s experience & journey also provided a much broader picture and detailed insight of what actually takes a slave to gain freedom and how each individual must free themselves from slavery rather than thinking that is just something that its given.     The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave, was the first of the three autobiographies that Frederick Douglass wrote himself. It’s a story about slavery and the meaning of freedom of the antebellum America. According to The Free Dictionary, Slavery is defined as the state or condition of being a slave; a civil relationship whereby one person has absolute power over another and controls his life, liberty, and fortune (freedictionary.com).
