Frederick Douglas one said, “If there is no struggle there is no progress”. Douglas is expressing how people have to go through a lot of hard work. People have to get through obstacles to move forward with their life starting with school, tragedies, jobs and other things to achieve their goals. Certain people don’t get through things as easy as others so it’s a harder struggle but if you keep moving forward and doing what is best to stay on track you will get progress and be where you need to be in order to do what you want to do in your life.
Douglas was born a slave and later on he would write about his life being a slave starting with his white family that taught him the alphabet. Douglas’ story tells about how he had a lot of struggle in learning what he wanted to know until he progressed and was able to say he was free. The lady that owned Douglas was a very nice women who decided it would be good to teach him the alphabet. Having to pack up all of your house is a big task, depending on how many people live with you can make this task much harder. While packing you have to go through all of your things and decide if you want those items or not. Donating things is a very nice thing to do but you have to know the difference between trash and things that others can use. Transportation can be a hard thing to find unless you want to spend a lot of money on a moving truck, always have a person ready to help like your family members or friends. It is very irritating to unpack everything into a new house after you already packed all of it because you feel like you did all of that work for nothing.
