Have you ever heard of Charlotte's Web? No not the movie but the high cannabidiol (CBD) and low tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) strain of marijuana that saved a little girl's life. Her parents had tried many different things to help with their young daughter’s epileptic seizures when nothing worked they finally turned to marijuana (Marijuana Stops). According to Marc Emery Scott, not only can it save lives but it can also help us get out of our enormous debt (Marijuana Sales). With the many uses for medical marijuana, so many people that suffer from nausea or vomiting can very easily be cured with a high CBD strain which is more of a body high then a head high. “The strain was low in tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, the compound in marijuana that's psychoactive. It was also high in cannabidiol, or CBD, which has medicinal properties but no psychoactivity. At age five, her parents had finally came to the conclusion there was nothing more the doctors could do. So, they turned to their last hope. Medical marijuana. The task however wasn't as easy as just going and getting it. Marijuana patients have to have two doctors sign off on a card and Charlie was the youngest candidate in the state.
