We seem to see that bees are just annoying or scary, yet do we ever sit back and wonder what would happen if we no longer had these little black and yellow pollinators. Would the world die if the bees were gone or would we all be okay? Well to be honest we are not a 100 percent sure what would happen but there is an idea. Could you imagine a world without apple pie or even just apples? A world without bees seems like a dull one without beautiful flowers, lovely fruits and vegetables. Without fruits and vegetables we would have no animals and hence forth we would have no humans, the world would be dead nothing thriving but a world of black. So what is a bee? There is more being learned everyday such as the findings of neonicotinoids in the pollen although it is not known if the doses are lethal they still show that they make the bees more vulnerable to disease (NYTimes). As said by Dr.Pettis “Three or Four years ago, I was much more cautious about how much pesticides were contributing to the problem. Now more and more evidence points to pesticides being a consistent part of the problem” So where do we go from here to we create a less lethal pesticide or will that still harm the bees. We need to give the bees a place to rebuild their population and your back yard is the best place to start. From there we can start making more and more noise till we get producers to stop using pesticides. Yet the whole battle starts and ends with
