My Lucky Star
The day she is not with me is the day that I die following her always, with no frown or no sigh.
My life would not be complete without my very best friend
I know she'll always be here, until the very end.
I thank her for life and all the joys so far praying to God always, on a lucky star.
I love you so, so much you are my everything thanks for being you, and taking me under your wing.
Raindrops on roses and a few of my favorite things her face would always glisten, each time she would sing.
Beautiful by nature a true friend at best surpassing all the others, she's better than the rest.
Whatever it may be boys, a cough, or just a mood she will always sit and listen, never, ever being rude.
I never have to say when I'm feeling down she only just knows, by my hidden frown.
Her hug or her smile can break my mood so fast making me see the bright side, putting the bad to the past.
Now as I'm older you could call us a pair our looks, wit, and charm, are only a few that we share.
My world is only whole with her by my side having her always there, to love and to guide.

Thank You
To me you're like an angel, sent by God above,
To cleanse my soul of sadness, and fill it with love.
You are my inspiration and I want to thank you,
For without you, I don't know what I would do.
You've changed my life around,
And turned my frown upside down.
You have showed me the way,
So that I will never stray.
For this I want to thank you again,
For staying close by and being a friend.
And to end this off I just wanted to say,
That if you need a friend,
I'll be there till the very end.

Thank You

Thank you for being there; For showing me the path; Thank you for always caring and giving it all you have; Thank you for not running when I needed your help, and thank you for always caring about my health; Thank you for always staying by my side, and giving me the courage and the pride to do things I've never

John Pokinghorne said "I can perceive another person as an aggregation of atoms, an open biochemical system in interaction with the environment, a specimen of homo sapiens, an object of beauty, someone who needs deserve my respect and compassion, a brother for whom Christ died. Myers believes Christians must appreciate the essential role of science in nuturing curiosity and humility. This will put a wrongheaded notion about existence to an empirical test. The levels-of-explanation view believes humans are best understood in terms of hierarchy of levels or disciplines of relative complexity that should not be confused. One's faith should not affect the other levels or disciplines. The levels of explanation view looks at the biological, cognitive, and behavioral components. This levels of explanation view also examines cultural, biological, and interpersonal views.…

Australia is a lucky country. It is a rich western democracy where its people enjoy wealth, health and freedom. On the surface it may appear so, and compared to other countries, we live in a country that we believe is free but how do we define freedom? The definition of freedom is “The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants” (Oxforddictionariescom, 2016). Australians have lots of rights. However on contemplation and reflection, it appears we are not as free as we believe to be. Society has a particular expectation of how people are portrayed. It believes we are meant to look and behave in a certain way. Someone who doesn't live up to these expectations can be shunned by society. A person suffering from mental illness, disability or a problem with…

When composing the Constitution in 1789, the Founding Fathers were anxious to stress that the executive branch of the new republic was to be subordinate to the peoples’ representation, the Congress. They achieved this through the Separation of Powers, a theory of government thought up by the French philosopher Montesquieu to prevent over-mighty or tyrannical government. The elaborate system of ‘checks and balances’ introduced greatly reduced the traditional authority of the executive, leaving some to argue that U.S. presidents have been left with very little power, if only the power of persuasion. However to what extent is this true? Theodore Roosevelt famously stated that he was both “king and prime minister”, even though other presidents, such as Johnson and Truman have stressed the weakness of the presidency.…

I felt this was a very underdone topic which deserved a lot more gratitude than what it was getting. Although this all happened before my time period i still found it extremely interesting, my curiously into Hitler came from studying him as part of my research topic so i knew from the beginning of my topic that i wanted Hitler to be the prime focus of my study. When i came across Unity’s story i was instantly curios to find out more on it.…

Sometimes they call for it because it is worth cries. Sometimes they fight for it because it is worth pains. Sometimes they die for it because simply it is life. When you ask them about what they are longing for they simply say "freedom". However, the term is controversial because freedom is not something that can talk and walk. You can not lay it to physical measures. Sometimes defining freedom depends on the age when it is sough. Sometimes it depends on the conception of the seeker or even needs. As any abstract value freedom seemed to be lost between truth and fantasy and still.…

Some people think that restricting certain things such as smoking and driving certain cars that can increase pollution for the sake of other people's health is a restriction to our freedom, these people say that is their health and they should be allowed to. However when we analyze this actions we end up realising that said “freedom” is not really worth risking our health or even our lives. We focus so much on the negative that we forget the positive outcome not only to society but for ourselves as well. We overlook that reducing the spaces that allow people to smoke also reduces the victims of secondhand smoke and also keeps people that smoke from smoking more than they should and ending up getting addicted or with lung cancer, or that by regulating car pollution it prevents people from getting toxins in their lungs and die. When not only own own health but also other peoples is at stake, we must think of the greater good and realise that is way better to have less “freedom” than risking death because of the selfish act of…
