SYNOPSIS OF HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA LIMITED 1. INTRODUCTION
Hyundai Motor India Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hyundai Motor Company in India. It is the 2nd largest automobile manufacturer in India. It was formed in 6 May 1996 by the Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea. HMIL's first car, the Hyundai Santro was launched in 23 September 1998 and was a runaway success. Within a few months of its inception HMIL became the second largest automobile manufacturer and the largest automobile exporter in India.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company (HMC), South Korea and is the largest passenger car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer in India. HMIL presently markets 6 models of passenger cars across segments. The A2 segment includes the Santro , i10 and the i20, the A3 segment includes the Accent and the Verna, the A5 segment includes the Sonata Transform and the SUV segment includes the Santa Fe.

2. OBJECTIVES * To study the perception and buying behavior of people towards Hyundai Motor India Limited. * To analyze the satisfaction level of customers towards Hyundai motor India Limited.

3. SCOPE OF THE STUDY * This research is aimed at profiling the standard customer with an aim to increase the network and improve company-customer relations. * The information gathered through this research can be used by the company to improve its services and became more customers friendly.

DATA COLLECTION
Primary data: the primary data is collected for the first time for a specific purpose or for a specific Research project for the fulfillment of project objective. a questionnaire will be designed to collect primary data from various customers.
Secondary data: Secondary data are the data, which already exists somewhere i.e. those which have already been collected by someone
