The Third Trumpet Judgment
“And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.” (Revelation 8:10–11)

Men are forced to drink the bitter liquid much like thirsty cattle driven to drink polluted water and with the same outcome: lingering

Another text that this occurs in is “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”, when Jonathan Edwards the author is consistently talking about the wrong that had been committed and how God will strike back against us, but yet never speaks of anything else. This is seen in these three quotes, “There is a dreadful pig of glowing flames of the wrath of God”, “Your wickedness makes you as it were heavy as lead, and to tend downwards wig great weight and pressure towards hell”, “This is the case of every one of you that are out of Christ, that works of misery, that lake of burning brimstone, is extended abroad under you”. But the attitude of these people could not have a better analogy than a black cloud, stated in the text, “The black clouds of gods wrath now hanging directly over your…

First scene is kids knocking over vases, destroying houseplants, throwing tantrums, etc in one family. “The joys of parenting? You must be kidding!” Ms Collin was so tired and frustrated, and she picked up the phone and complained to her best friend Ms Stone, who also has three kids. “Your kids are doing their homework?! Unbelievable! You must show me your secret!” Second scene is now in Ms Stone’s house, who was just enjoying her time of Yoga while Ms Collin walked in. “You’ve got to have one! It’s amazing!” Ms Stone shared excitedly, “Let me show you my secret weapon, - TiVo”. Then she vividly demonstrated how TiVo works, “you can pause anytime without being interrupted by the phone; with it you can record 30 hours of programming without the hassle of videocassettes. And it’s also intelligent enough to automatically detect and record the shows that you love with a ‘season pass’, and make suggestions just for you. See? Just pause, rewind, fast-forward, pause again, etc. You can skip the commercials if you want. I know our kids love the comic show only available at 8 - 9pm every day, so TiVo will record it and then my kids can watch it whenever they want!” Ms Collin is so fascinated by the demonstration and can’t wait to get one herself. Final scene is the slogan, “TiVo, TV your way.”…
