Gathering Blue By Lois Lowry

Gathering Blue I am doing a book review on Gathering Blue by the author Lois Lowry. This book all in all is pretty good, just some parts can be difficult to grasp at once. This books plot is mainly about this girl that has deformed leg, twisted, she is now an orphan. Her father died at war before she was even born. At the beginning of the story the mother dies of illness. This book isn’t predictable and is consistent for the most part. I think that it is very believable, just a little less advanced than the times are right now. The main character is Kira, twisted, she grows throughout the story and slowly understands why she was born the way she was. She thinks she is so worthless and such a waste of space when in reality she isn’t, she
