Personal Responsibility
Father, what degree do you have? I reply to my children, I do not have a degree because college is not for me. Beside I have to work to provide the family needs in daily life. Are that enough responsibilities? Or is that an excuse you want to give to your children. Or you accept your responsibility by going to college to a degree. What is personal responsibility? To me, it is being responsible for your own actions, words, and thought. If your action is just mouthy and without action than it is not responsibility, it turns into word without action. I tell my son or daughter that education is the key to success in life, therefore; they must go through college to achieve a higher degree in something. If I do not have some type of credentials or degree they would look at me in a difference perspective. They still treat as a father but not a mentor or an educator aspect point of view. Personal responsibility is all on you, whether you are determining of taking self-control and you must have the discipline to go through. Being responsible for your actions and words, that is personal responsibility.
You have to practice that daily if not, then it will not become great responsibility. It is like the word without action. We have to say and do as the time or else it will be irrelevant. I must teach my children the best value of being high responsible by lead with the best example or else I am just another word without action.
Time management is the biggest hurdle that I have to overcome. I have to set personal aside and focus what the strategies for me to success in college to get a degree. Being a great model for my children is just motivation trigger an ideal. Action is the doer to get a degree, but I have to tackle one step at a time. Controlling my time will lead to a high responsibility to finish my degree and being a super
