Chapter 3: Summary, Conclusion and Recommendation
Summary This paper attempted to determine the effects of generation gap between teachers and student. The research design used in this study is the descriptive research method wherein data from the documents and interviews were used to answer the research question. The research findings are the following:
1. Although student from different generation had very different attitudes about the teaching practices which they are exposed, all the students maintained the same fundamental expectation of quality from teachers.
2. Almost all wants a veteran teacher because of the experience the teachers have and he/she could teach more about the subject or lesson.
3. That technology has role in creating a generation gap between teachers and students.
4. That people think that from the older generation always wise and correct in their way of thinking and teaching against the new generation.
5. That the generation gap is the fault of either old or young people.
6. To support students development professionalism, it is necessary to understand the professional challenges and dilemmas they perceive in the clinical setting.

7. That the generation gap is often leads to lack of communication and understanding between people of different generation.
Conclusion
Based on the findings of this study, the following conclusions are drawn:
1. Generation gap refers to the difference in the ways of thinking and behaving that exists between older people, considered to be from the earlier generation, and the younger people, considered to be from later generation.
2. Schools and students pay a price when new teachers leave the profession after only 2 to 3 years just when they have acquired valuable teaching experience.
3. If there is a general agreement that younger teacher do not have the same attributes as their old counterpart, commentators still offer divergent assessment of the contrast
Recommendation
After drawing the conclusions of the study, the researchers hereby make the following suggestion/recommendations:
1. A school must draw on the professional knowledge and skills that experienced teachers have accumulated and refined over the years while also capitalizing on the energy and fresh ideas of the new recruits.
