1.0 Introduction
Environmental damage is one of the foremost issues throughout Australia and w orld-w ide. For years environmental damage has been changing the ecosystems and the sustainability of this planet. Environmental damages, although some people ignore this factor, has an effect on every single human being, flora and fauna. These damages are shaped from agriculture clearing and overgrazing, deforestation, overfishing and illegal fishing, and introduction of exotic species, infrastructure development and pollution (W WF Global, 2004-2006). The purpose of this report is to investigate and explore the ongoing situation of the Murray Darling River Basin. The aim of this report is to identify the specific circumstances of the Murray-Darling River Basin and investigate the causes, effects and management of environmental issues occurring.
3.0 Methodology
In order to complete this report a number of sources are going to be examined. These sources w ill include reliable w eb sources, government documents and reports produced by environmental agencies.
2.0 The Issue at hand
There is an outstanding amount of issues occurring w ith the Murray-Darling River Basin. These environmental challenges taking place are acid sulphate soils, algal blooms, climate change, drought and flood, land degradation: erosion, w ater quality and
