As a simple physics concept “Entropy” states, everything has a tendency to go to the state of disorder, including a group, a society, or a country. Thus, in order to prevent the “Entropy” from happening, a leader or central force is necessary. In this case, which is for a country, a president is needed. I would like to present the candidate I chose, Jeb Bush. Jeb was born in 1953 in Texas and he went to the University of Texas, Austin. He was able to obtain a B.A. Degree there. After his graduation, he went to South America to work, then he came back and moved to Florida in 1980. He started his real estate career there and was quite successful in the field. Due to his extraordinary deeds, he was named the Secretary of Commerce in 1986, then he became the governor of Florida in 1998. He was successfully re-elected in 2002, thus made him the first two-terms Republican governor. I consider Jeb Bush as a powerful candidate for the U.S President in the 2016 presidential election based on his family background and political experience,…

The television series that I will be writing about is South Park, the series is about four white middle class elementary school boys named Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick and their daily adventures in South Park Colorado. However, the one character that is touched upon quite a bit in the episode I will be writing about is not a main character but one that appears quite a bit in this series and his name is Al or also known as “Big Gay Al”. South Park is trying to make out Al as a stereotypical homosexual: upbeat, happy, optimistic, and flamboyant. In the series Al is very compassionate about the things he loves like saving homosexual animals which I will touch briefly on with the episode that I have chosen to write…

Captain Torres’ character is over-confident, ruthless, and blasé. Firstly, Torres is an over-confident man. His presence is loud and hard to go unnoticed. His actions and words reflect a state of mind of being a know-it-all and diving into dangerous situations with no fear, “They told me you would kill me. I came to find out if it was true. But it’s not easy to kill. I know what I’m talking about.” (Tellez 184) Torres is so confident that he knowingly put his life at risk under the impression that he is too superior to be killed. In addition, Torres was so confident that the barber would be too scared to kill him that he tested it out just to see if he was right. Above all, Torres’ words display arrogance and over-confidence and he seems…
