Gestapo Narrative
After one and half years in hiding, my family and I have been found by the Gestapo. We were found yesterday at around noon. Right now we are at the cattle station waiting for the next cattle to take us to a concentration camp.

The cattle car just arrived and I am very scared. There is around 500 people here and just two cattle cars. The cattle cars are very small and they stink.

The Gestapo have thrown everyone in the cattle cars and I have lost my parents and my sister. The cattle car is very small. I don’t have any space to breathe. It stinks very bad and it is very hot in here. Their is a little bucket in the corner so people can use it as a bathroom. The cattle car does not have any windows so it is very hot in here. I don’t know the actual temperature but I think it is around 40 celsius. The person next to me just threw up and it stinks in here. Someone just used the bathroom and it is like hell in here now.

People are screaming that they want food. Everything in the cattle car is terrifying. The journey is very terrifying. No one knows where we are being taken to. We only know that we are being taken to a concentration.

I am very worried about my parents. I do not know where they are. I do not know where my sister is. I know for a fact that they were thrown onto one of the cattle cars. I can’t even walk around to see if they are on the same cattle car as me. It is that crowded. I can’t even move my fingers. There are around 250 people in a cattle car built for three horses.

I am feeling very sick because I am very hungry. I haven’t eaten in since yesterday since our capture. I asked the Gestapo for food before I was thrown onto the cattle car and they said food will be very rare from now and

We were stuffed into train crafts, over crowed without any space to sit. We had a bucket as a toilet for about 35 people. I felt the presence of evil from the begging, and even though I know were heading to Auschwitz I don't have any predictions for my future. As soon as we stepped off the train we were separated into two groups. To me the groups were workers and the other were the useless. I haven't seen my mother or baby sister nor my grandmother. Me and my father escaped and are once again in hiding. We tried locating our family but we cant find anyone from the other group, but have seen bodies being disposed and the crematoria. I haven't slept but I've cried, consistently. As well as my father were torn down we understand what is going and are hopeless. I know the year, 1943. But not the day nor month. Help? I don’t expect it, not after 4…

It’s been two days since I got in that van and was taken out of Candor. It’s been rough on my own after getting dropped off somewhere in northern Florida. I only brought about $50.00 with me when Oscar and I set off into the woods. I’ve been alone ever since I got out of the van and I’m not sure what to do. Oscar made it very clear that I was not ever allowed to call my parents, but even if I did, I’m not sure what I would say. I’m sure they’ve figured out that I’m gone, but I don’t know what’s happening back in Candor. In fact, I don’t wish to know.…

We were put on trucks and taken to a larger village where we spent the night in the yard of a house. Between August 9–13, 1944, we were herded into different compounds on meadows at various places around Rennes and then to a collection camp at Ste. Mère-Église. We received daily two or three U.S. C rations. On the evening of August 13, we were brought to the coast and crossed the English Channel in a tank transport ship. We arrived at what may have been Portsmouth, and then transported by train to a POW camp at Devizes, Wiltshire County. During our processing, all papers, pictures, and similar things that we carried with us were confiscated and never seen again. I was at Devizes from August 14–17. Devizes seemed to be an American-operated…

"This is where we will make camp." One of them yells. That is all he says. I am so stiff I can barely move. I swing my legs over the edge of the cart and sit up. Once I got there, my stomach started to creak hunger with just the smell of the mixture of all different kinds of food that was there, and I felt like something was writhing inside me. I was about 10 minutes circling to find a parking nearby, until I saw a married couple with two children walking toward a car. I stood behind them driving too slow, I went along to their car and I waited for the mother of the children to settle them into their car seats, and then they began to go back. There was a gray car in front of me that was preparing to park in the same place as and I did. I did not let the guy park there, so slightly I accelerated my car and I parked first.…

I got the keys of the car and open the engines. My first destination was to Austin. It’s about two hours. After an hour and a half I had refill my fuel so I refilled it. That cost was about 35$. Then I continued my way and I saw the Colorado River. I was away from Austin 15 minutes and the climate was hot. And it was by 5:00. I was hungry so I stopped at McDonald’s to get a burger. And rest there. I stayed there and stopped at a motel to sleep for night. I was hungry and Trip was too. So I got outside until I saw about 3 lizards. I killed them and then got some rocks and robbed them together to make a fire and cook it. I ate 1.5 Trip too. And got to my room and slept for the night. I got in the morning and I would probably go to Bryan station and stop at Waco. So I went there until I went there and stopped at desert to find cow. I saw one so I killed it and cooked it. I was in Bryan station right now. I didn’t stop there but I continued my way to temple I had to refill the fuel. When I stopped at temple it was raining and in the night. The bad news is a driver crashed my car and run away. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…

Jones together with his men armed with weapons barged through the gate of “Animal Farm.” The animals, nowhere in sight, were hiding away, as instructed by Snowball. The humans slashed around the farm, destroying everything in sight, like tornadoes tearing through the place. They repainted the name of the farm to “Manor Farm”. A spark in the animals had been ignited, seeing their enemies trod on their farm. They then seized the opportunity and pecked at the humans’ calves, injuring many of them. The humans were caught off guard by the swarm of animals.…

It was a gorgeous June afternoon, and summer had just begun. I had just gotten my license, and I couldn’t wait to go cruising’ around. I had spent the day at my friend’s house, and now I was on my way home. I was almost home, I just had to turn onto the gravel road to get to my house. While I was turning, I was trying to put in a mix CD I had just made, and trying to turn the corner at the same time. I guess I was going a little too fast, because all of a sudden, I found myself lying in the ditch, outside of my car. I had the bitter taste of blood in my mouth. I was very scared.…
